      Smaug was dead the moment he agreed to attack the city and threaten those Maitimo loves, he just didn't know it yet

      I had originally written that part with Nemireth as the one slitting Smaug's throat in utter mama bear mode, but I decided she would be needed to heal Naire and Maitimo was known as one of the most fearsome warriors of the first age for a reason, so I made him finish Smaug instead
