For Antarctica I'd actually love Morgan's POV but Morgan is not a kind of person who gossips. Ever. She might look like she gossips when she releases tactical bait. Which is a challenge
But Sunny returning to Falcon Scott with 1 VIP and 6 thousands refugees extra has GIANT potential, AT LEAST one good gossip and maybe more if I'll manage :3
On Morgan I'm thinking she could because she saw sunny withstand her flaw with zero effort that woman is touch starved and her love life is like the nightmare desert I think she would want to learn how are her chances with sunny

I do not she'd say that aloud, ever, and the point of this series is gossips going around; but it definitely adds fuel to her interest in Sunny. I was thinking more about Morgan messing up with her new dear sister, and her fascination with a worthwhile sparringpartner, which she has never enough; but her touch starvation definitely adds to it.
Does someone want to write about Morgan's sparring session that surprisingly goes from fencing to wrestling and how devastating experience of being embraced (and choked) is for her touch-starved mind?
Does someone want to follow it with implication that Morgan reacts unconsciously to Master Sunless, proprietor of Eyecandy Café, with a load of forgotten emotions, and that's why her reaction to elders messing with Nephis romance was such gloriously ruthless?
I got some more ideas for the whole master sunless part the boytoy discours is really funny to me another part I like is the whole sector of valor men using every chance they get to Diss his name like not only ws this guy the eye candy cafe but he caught the eye of princess nephis known for refusing marriages fuck that guy son of a nightmare creature and that goes on into the war i got the idea from the chapter he saved trys and it was said he was a known playboy and i could not understand where that reputation came from i figured they use every chance to shit on him sometimes you can catch your partner stealing glances at him
Another bit is the other side how people sigh over him like people will take an hour or more to finish their drink or food so they can look at him or order memories just for the sake of talking or you go to that place your wife goes with her friends and and find a majestic ahh fucker although the food is great and it goes into the war with some of the soldiers sighing over him as well and dont ask some intelligence officers of valor or some song spies why they have so many photos of him
Another interesting idea is as someone nephis is dating valor's intelligence office does a background check when they get to his records of antártica they exist but everything is redacted there is some gossip in valor about it wasn't this guy just a pretty boy why is all redacted
morgan wouldn't say it but I feel like she would be coviniently near a group of gossipers and she would appear to not be lstening and it would be like near considering her hearing is of an ascended so not as near as other people listening in might be

On the topic of Morgan being touch starved it's not just her flaw it's her entire life
Like she was raised as legacy and sword first her mother was dead her father might as well be she probably never got hugs In her life or maybe the last time was one of her nannies
How many friends could she have had few or none meeting those kids was for connections mainly
And with what we have of her childhood was 70% training as the very least and the rest would be legacy stuff so 0 care
Then add her flaw witch would make Morgan lose the chance of care outside her horrible family she would completely scrap the idea of a lover or child
Now enter sunny who is the ascended who has to date best endured her flaw without the use of an ability I believe that outside abilities sunny and is the best the armor was crafted by a daemon I think it would it should be the best
It would be a godsend to Morgan or at the least a great chance for Morgan
Despite what sunny thinks of himself he is handsome great researcher one of the youngest ascended recently declared war hero who outside of trys has the best feats in the campaign
And I think it be hard for valor to find marriges for Morgan her flaw would be something disclosed rather quckly to the man like this isn't the type of thing you can hide so I believe sunny would have been a great prospect in her eyes

And yes yes, you are very correct about all of it, and uhmmmmmmm I'm not sure but gossip JUST MIGHT BE adjacent to covert plotting. Because some elder clan members are definitely aware of Morgan circumstances and might wish to do something about it. So. I need to actually reread some chapters to check some details.

We know sunny has zero idea of how clan stuff works so he would ask nephis most won't outright mention marriage but say negotiations nephis would know so she woud tellsunny that she will accompany him as he doesn't have knowledge of how legacies work

Nephis would as she is usually straight forward the only reason she went the roundabout way with song and valor was hie powerful they were

There had been a minor (hopefully minor) instance of plot emergence. All I can say is I asked "what would Morgan want in this situation because she's great tactician so everything she does starts from what she wants to happen" and then Morgan surprised us both because she actually had an answer. And guess what, she has too much dignity to go for a guy who's madly in love with someone else, but she found a better mark. Sooooooo yes I need some work to sort out plot emergence and decide what to do with no-Sunphis Morgan-centered parts in case they appear and how much canon-compliant I want to stay because I somehow don't believe Guiltythree will be generous enough to give her what she said she wants.....
I'm trying so hard not to spoil chapters before actually sitting to write them 😅
Oh yeah after learning of how their relationship is she would not but prior to that point I don't think morgan ever considered neph's or sunny's love lives she would only get interested on sunny after that point and after learning of how things are she woudnt continue that route
I actually hadn't considered it that far at the time after all I'm here for the sunphis and I thought about it in relation to that its just that every character is interesting when you think about them still suphis is what I want primarily as there hadn't been sunphis bits in a while in the novel
