    Oh my goodness, what a fabulous starting chapter! You really held that tension throughout, and that slow-build of horror.

    I loved the little details you included and Rex’s thoughts. The sassing between Obi-Wan and Cody made me laugh 😂

    The interactions between everyone felt very natural and in-character. I am firmly seated for this! ♥️

      thank you! horror is one of my specialties. though after the first two chapters i rein it in a bit.
      i love getting into Rex's head. as an officer, he's not supposed to have favorites, but as we'll come to see later, he didn't have much choice with his Dominoes.
      and yes, Hardcase is, and will continue to be a delight.
