    You should have Shadow recognize the destroyed square from when he traveled to that dimension in the Shadow Generations DLC

      That DLC still makes no sense in my eyes, at this point I'm just considering it as non-canon to my fic tbh.

        I mean, the DLC is basically that Game!Shadow got thrown into the Movie Universe because space-time universe shenanigans after the Time-eater broke everything. His form changed to match his counterpart, but he was really just a second Shadow running around Tokyo, probably at around the same time the actual Movie!Sonic and Movie!Shadow were chasing each other through Tokyo in the movie or when they were at the Chao Garden with Walters. Still the same guy as Game!Shadow, just in a different body.

        He has none of the memories of Movie!Shadow, he was just in plopped down in Tokyo and had to get out

          I know, I know, I've seen it. But I really don't see the point storywise (for Generations it's fan-service, sure; For this story, it feels weird to me), so I really don't see the point of adding it, you know?

          Also the fact that I've seen it AFTER I've written that chapter. So, let's just pin in on that, Ig :)
