    Daemon: *with poorly concealed desperation and lust* I am NOT going to fuck a Hightower.

    I personally don't ship Aemond / Daemon for multiple reasons, but you wrote this so compellingly that I find myself very interested in where this goes.

    I also really love that you wrote Daemon as someone who is so addicted to attention that he's essentially become a drug dealer who peddles attention to others. I think that's really in line with certain aspects of his character in the show, especially in the first season.

      BWAHAHAHAH he may seem badass but he is just a loser.

      Oh gawd, I thought I was the same too! Then I saw some ship art of Daemon embracing Aemond whilst driving his sword through both of them, and I was like "Oh ffs here we go again, now I gained ANOTHER ship, as if I don't already have a thousand of them" 🤣 And I spent hours on the weekend staring at a blinking cursor, with zero ideas, just this desperate urge to write Daemond. Until finally this happened.

      I've got some ideas for this that I know will be deeply upsetting to shippers of a certain minor M/F pair in the tags. But it's a concept that crossed my mind and I want to see if I can make it work. 🤞

      "A drug dealer peddling attention" is a wonderful phrase, and exactly! Like he really is just out here grooming these young people, believing that he's doing a good thing because "they need attention and love" 💀

        You write whatever you want to write! Like I said before, if someone doesn't like it, they don't have to read it. You do you, boo. <3

        It must be how he justifies it to himself. He's not grooming them or taking advantage, no, he's educating them and guiding them. There's nothing untoward about it, not at all.

            Debustee is great! I commissioned them for one of my stories earlier this year. I’ll have to reblog the art they did, it was beautiful.

            He’s such a scumbag but thinks that he’s a blessing. I really hope that Aemond forces him to confront the truth, in some way. It would be fun to watch Daemon’s self-worth shrink a bit, haha.

            But I’m sure I’ll enjoy wherever you take it! Your writing is always so engaging!

              And oh yes, Daemon is going to have quite a few verbal lashings (not just from Aemond either)! I think there'll be multiple arguments in several chapters (lots of sex as well) lmao
