    Honestly, this is how I imagine Anakin from the original timeline telling Luke why he fell going.

    Anakin after finishing his life story: Any questions?

    Luke: Let me get this straight. The Jedi ignored your mom's potential death and left her in slavery, let Palpatine groom you, made Obi-Wan fake his death for a mission to save Palpatine, told you too suppress your emotions AND accused your padawan wrongfully on bombing the temple. Oh, and also made you have a diplomatic mission with the Hutts, who enslaved you and only AFTER all of this, you fell?

    Anakin: Yes. Also in some headcanons I was also bullied/had no friends.

    Luke: I'm not surprised you fell. It's like they wanted you almost to fall.

    No, but jokes aside, when you pile it up you get why someone would fall. They couldn't even give him a therapist for his childhood trauma, instead they were like ,,Don't be scared of us, just suppress your feelings".
