  1. Oh wowie. Tazuna chapter—seems like our protagonist is confirming what she wants, by asking someone she knows well. It’s honestly a very interesting perspective to show this early on. Tazuna is, despite being the secretary, an outsider to the situation—which gives her such a unique view on all the characters here.

I enjoyed learning the lore on our dearest guinea pig’s career as a trainer, how she apparently got in as some sort of understudy before she became the trainer. Makes me wonder if we’ll learn more or see who exactly she studied under.

Similarly, seeing Tazuna’s introspection on Tachyon was probably my favorite part of this chapter. The way she admires her for running in spite of the condition she’s had since birth juxtaposed with the melancholy of the fact that, despite how Tazuna may want to still run, she is unable to do it anymore. The price of youth indeed, leading to regrets in the modern day.

That’s actually a very interesting parallel between her and the trainer, two people who regret an impossiblity; though one who can change it. It’s great stuff.

I have a feeling next chapter’s the umafication too so, onwards with the reading.

    1. Tazuna is an excellent character that parralels, contrasts and builds up on the journey's of others incredibly well, and that's just the obvious stuff. I believe she'd find a great spot in a lot of other fics, not just this one, if given the time of day.
