Well I explained why Dobby was there in the story...Harry stunned him until he could find a way to force Dobby into bonding with him enough to override whoever his current master was - he did not want to be found. He did find something to break the bond Malfoy had of him, aided by the fact that Dobby actually wanted it...he wanted away from the Malfoy's and it helped break the bind between Master and Elf. Although the bond Harry has on Dobby is in a way more tight than the one Malfoy had...it stopped him being able to even think about ways to betray harry not that he wants to of course...but Harry is suspicious of everything and everyone and made sure Dobby couldn't. Dobby as it happens loves serving Harry even if he's a little bit cold...he doesn't force Dobby to harm himself for his own amusement or wrongdoings...he's happier there and not abused. I think its in the bit where Dobby was first introduced to the story but I cant remember where...its only five chapters so it cant be hard to read back and find out :)
There are too few I agree its why I decided upon writing one I like to keep my stories different in different aspects but its almost impossible these days with so many stories out there lol and yes Harry will take care of him...if the muse permits me to have them getting along lol ;)
