      I only really wanted to write a scene in which someone grabs a burning log and beats the shit out of someone. XD

      In one of my favorite comics, Parasyte, there's a flashback in which mom was cooking hot oil in a pot. When her son knocked into the stove the pot was about to fall upon his head, and she swoops down and grabbed the pot, and asked hurried, "Are you okay? Did any of the oil get on you?"

      It wasn't until dad pointed out she WAS STILL HOLDING THE POT when she realized she severely burned her hand. Ahhhh... it was a great scene.

        I also adored this cene. ( and Parasyte is fantastic anyway IMHO. Quite the revolutionary topic I think.). Great taste, Tashiloverl^^ Both for the comment and your choice to read this fic. Humans are space orcs is such a fascinating and enjoyable tag/idea. :)

          I love Parasyte and all its creepy monster designs, but I've never been a big fan of 'humans are actually the evil of the world and are no better than the animals they eat'. trope. Which is ironic considering what the fic is all about. XD I fucking love that tag and I've read soooo much. =D
