    I think it seems so personally emotive because (especially for me) I find it easier to write the gut-wrenching heartbreak scenes because they are so many more raw ways to represent emotions but that might just be me waffling lol
    Jason in the comics has always been the punching bag (both figuratively and literally) of the batfam so to keep him as that stoic character was actually really simple
    And yes, Dick will probably always be this protective because that’s his (son) little brother
