There are only two Dwarrow ... in my mind ... it could be. Thrain ... who has managed to escape his captors in Dol Guldur ... or Frerin ... who somehow survived, unbeknownst to his family. I guess it could be Thorin ... but you keep saying that Bilbo sees the Dwarf as his good friend and family ... THEREFORE, MY GUESS IS THAT IT'S THRAIN.
