    Look, I get that you mean well, but Yang thinking make-believe games are stupid? That's not Yang. Remember in the episode Welcome to Beacon, Yang is playing a board game that looks a lot like Risk. And given her knowledge of the game, of sweet plays and how to explain it to others, she's clearly pretty experienced. She also really enjoys playing video games, as seen in Brawl in the Family. I get that fanon likes to portray her as a dumb jock, but she's actually pretty nerdy. Hooray for breaking stereotypes! Yang can be a nerd and be beautiful and smart and kick all sorts of ass.

    Come to think of it, that's why the end of v3 had to nerf her so hard.

      I wasn't so much going for dumb jock so much as having her just like to give some good natured ribbing to her friends and sister for doing stuff she's not (currently) into. She does have some stuff to say about videogames here and it takes almost zero convincing to get her to play. I get how it could come off as me portraying her as a dumb jock though and will put more work toward showing the fuller picture as the fic continues.
