  1. This is amazing. Im in love with the ishvalan language, you're really awesome for inventing all of it!
I love the premise of this and I'm excited to see where it'll go.
Also, this chapter was hilarious at times even though the setting was so depressing?

Wordlessly, the nameless man takes off the glasses hiding his eyes.
Edwards falters and his eyes widen almost comically. “Oh.” He blinks, and scowls ferociously. “Okay, well, I’ll still fight you,” he says petulantly.

He looks back again, just before he leaves the room. "Utobezhayla aq ayzhotema’a kharra," he says, and the boys look over.
    “Gesundheit,” Edward says blankly.

THESE TWO MOMENTS MADE ME LAUGH OUT LOUD
    POOR SCAR
(Also... do you speak German? Or do English speaking people actually use "Gesundheit"??? I'm baffled)

This is just great and I'm so glad I get to read it :))

    1. Whoops this is from forever ago, sorry about the late reply!

Something I really admired about the manga was that, even with high stakes and horrible circumstances (the Philosopher's Stone, Ishvalan massacre, and human transmutation, just to name a few), there was still some really strong veins of light and humor. I've been trying to imitate that, a little, so I'm happy there were hilarious parts in all the depressing stuff!

I definitely don't speak German. The gesundheit thing... in English, it's kind of like a "I don't know what you just said, in fact I'm so confused I'm going to assume you sneezed. In a different language, even." I don't know what percentage of native English speakers actually use it that way, but it happens in the movie Tangled, so I'm 99% sure it's not just my family being weird.
