  1. Well I think you're doing a fantastic job! And man, your level of dedication to bringing your stories to life is mindblowing and amazing. The fact you put so much research into the whole thing, as I said before, just really brings it all the more to life and thus impacts the reader on a much deeper level.

I can imagine what the scene was like back then, but as you say, since we're seeing this from Loki's perspective, and he's relatively innocent, and has never done anything like this, it's being filtered through that and we're probably not getting the full brunt of what was actually going down then.

I'll be very interested to learn more about Tony and what's up with him. Obviously, people don't just start out with that kind of outgoing confidence or recklessness either. So I'm definitely looking forward to all of that.

    1. Thanks my dear, thanks. I really appreciate the support, and all the comments.

...And I have been doing some more research. I've got this book, Faggots, by Larry Kramer, that I got in Kindle format so I could read it right away. Lordy, lordy lou, that was one messed-up time! All this need and loneliness, that was only coming out through the sex, and then wasn't getting satisfied. Maybe that'll help me while I try to tell that side of Tony, as well as the side he usually shows. ...I probably also ought to see if I can track down IM2 on Netflix, so I can tap really good into hurting/self-destructive-Tony.

I have to do all the research for these things, is why I do it. If I just wade right in and start writing, pretty soon it starts to feel like cardboard cutouts, and they're moving around in a landscape I can't visualize. And then before the story even starts suffering, I start losing the will to write it.
