Ooooooomfg. I got a few pages into this a month ago, and forgot about it, in the stress of teaching a class. And I started reading it yesterday and BLEW THROUGH IT SO FAST, THIS IS LIKE CRACK. Pale porn, yessssss.
The notion that Gamzee doesn't understand acting is terrifying. He not only went through all those scenes genuinely feeling pail, he probably went through the pain of losing them all, too. No wonder he's so badly fucked up.
Also, little Karkat turning into a damn warrior, that was great. I love when Karkat gets to be properly protective.
Also, the KArkat and Terezi side-romance, so good, even if it was just a few paragraphs. It communicated so much, so well.
