I loved how you shifted this to the modern context, used vagueness so well so we didn't get hung up on how all of the details of the story transposed but emphasised how their characters are still the same. Lizzy is so spirited and bright, and Darcy is solemn but so so sweet. And A+ for sexytimes. Bloody brilliant.

i avoided going into details about the backstory because i suspected it couldn't fit into a one-shot lol. i am very flattered you think the characters in this story are faithful to their canon counterparts - i am always uncertain about characterization. lizzy is especially tricky. she is so sparkly, so bright, and i had trouble in keeping her this way while having her unsatisfied with her life and a tad heartbroken.
