   Or, like John is about to be arrested, taken down for being an Assassin (by Mycroft or the Police) or Sherlock catches him and then "Wait, that was a joke - he's my partner." Will John have to give up his Assassin job to stay with Sherlock and live together? Can they only come together on dates and not live together? Maybe Sherlock gets distracted by Moriarty and John is like - No, not putting up with this. Then John takes down Moriarty and proposes to Sherlock, proving he's the only criminal deserving of Sherlock's attention.
