The "Other" is a concept that will continue throughout the story, and it is one of those driving factors that remains a bit amorphous until a later chapter. However, it's safe to say that Rey and Kylo Ben serve a purpose for each other, which is part of a much larger Galactic purpose.
I love the idea of the Knights and was sad that the movie didn't expound upon them (I LOVED TLJ, but I've always had a soft and intriguing spot for the KoR), so I've decided to expound upon them in the story. It was my goal to give them names, identities, and very clear personalities, so that they may fit into a larger dynamic and help to enlighten how Ben Solo became Kylo Ren, Master of his Knights. Who are they? Why did they leave? What are their feelings about Kylo Ben? If they know about Rey, what do they think of her?
