  1. I am really a huge fan of the pace this story is setting. It's so fast and exciting! And Victor's internal voice comes across so strongly throughout, which is harder than you might think to pull off. It's especially noticeable in his internal monologue during the conversation with the queen at the beginning.

One detail I really like is the differences between wizards, sorcerers and witches. I am 100% here for differences between magic-users. I love that detail--and the fact that Victor has opinions on different types of magic-users despite presumably having never met any, haha. But I mean, he's got a point. Wizards ought to get with the fashion programme. I hope we'll get to learn more about the different types of magic someday!

And of course, my favourite line: "If it were a boy, he would probably ask it’s hand in marriage, legal or not." Boys and their swords, I swear. :D

The scene with Victor's friends was really excellent as well. This whole chapter was excellent. I can't wait to see what his adventure is like!

    1. I’m glad you’re enjoying! Victor’s internal voice is basically the main source of background information, so it was important that it represented itself clearly. :D

And, I’m glad you like the magic users! Actually, Victor DOES know a magic user, but that’s all I’m saying for now. :P Wizards need to, indeed, get with the damn programme, yes. And, yes indeed, the roles of the magics in the world WILL be shed light upon, later, so look forward to that! :D

Boys do seem to have a thing for swords around here, tijiji.

The scene with Bartolo and Cordero was fun to write, and all of Victor’s going-away presents will, hopefully, be of some use in the future :P.

Glad you enjoyed! See you soon!
