    OH GODS I LOVE IT SO MUCH! And the whole:
    “He could have killed you in your sleep”
    “Absolutely”
    “See”
    Holy but these brothers! (And I mean all three because omg they are so ridiculous and teasing and just infuriating and OFC DURO NEEDS TO GO BANG HIS HEAD ON A WALL, ITS THE ONLY LOGICAL WAY TO DEAL WITH THOSE TWO!!)

    AND WAAAHHHHHH-HAAAA-HAA, the thought of Agron just thinking the necklace was SOMETHING Duro would have wore but he cannot even be sure. (And for an extra smack of feels, consider that maybe Agron had a brain fluff moment and actually went “Duro will love this” ONLY TO REMEMBER THAT DURO IS GONE AND WTF IS HE GOING TO DO WITH THIS LEATHER CORD THEN IF NOT GIFT IT TO HIS LITTLE BROTHER WHO LOVED ALL THE THINGS?? And then he wears it in Duro’s memory and WHAT HAVE YOU DONE??!

    And now because I’m apparently having ALL THE FEELS, the fact that Agron and Crixus would go against Spartacus because they both have people they love and need to look after while Spartacus is all “LETS HELP AND TRUST EVERYONE” and now it’s like - Spartacus doesn’t have anyone in the way they do and so he’s searching for that and just taking on the weight of the world to find it and while they have these people who they will place above all others and who they can trust undoubtedly Spartacus does not have that same relationship and responsibility and UUGGHHHHHHH. Poor guy.

    I am honestly SO EXCITED to track this guys progress and see what he manages to find about himself and he just seems so great and I LOVE that he rushes first to warn Nasir and I am honestly loving on this relationship SO MUCH.

      OH SHIT. So Agron wears the necklace that his dead brother never got to have and he will tear Romans apart with his bare hands and soak the leather with their blood because when Agron next sees his brother, he's gonna give Duro this necklace with its leather soaked in the blood of Romans AND I NO LONGER WONDER WHY AGRON'S NECKLACE IS SO IMPRACTICALLY DANGLY (where Crixus' and Gannicus' are not) BECAUSE THESE LEATHER CORDS ARE THE WICK MEANT TO ABSORB EACH OFFERING TO VENGEANCE.

      ... I may need to have a lie-down and recuperate from that HOLY SHIT.

      Not sure if I have other comments on Sparty or Crixus or Calius. The Agron Things are kind of asploding in my head right now.

      EDIT: Also, maybe that's why Agron collects trophies from his kills -- the silver belt he wears in Vengeance is from a slaver he throws over his shoulder and kills in 2x03 (and NASIR IS TOTALLY WEARING THAT BELT IN WotD 3x03) and the pendant Agron wears in WotD and other things and now I can't help wondering if, like, Agron believes that when he falls in battle, he'll carry some reflection of them with him into the afterlife and be all, "SEE, BROTHER? I DID GOOD FOR YOU." ...and now I'm all misty-eyed because Duro would whap him on the head for throwing his life away -- the life Duro gave his own to save -- when Agron could have gone over the mountains with Nasir and had a damn goat farm. BOY AM I GLAD AGRON DIDN'T DIE IN THE TV SHOW (because, like, I never would have even started watching it, to be honest).

        OMG ALL THE CLOTHES SHARING!!, Seriously though, I ADORE how Agron just about throws his whole closet at Nasir (either that or Nasir is just stealing all the clothes) either way, it is a Very public declaration of their love and devotion and they are all the precious and I love that they just wear each other’s clothes because they belong to each other and ARRGHHHH THAT THIS EVEN HAPPENED AND IT IS FABULOUS AND I ADORE EVERY SECOND OF IT OMFG.

        and OH GODS the idea of Agron collecting trophies to share with his brother (BUT THEN THAT HE IS ALSO SHARING THEM WITH NASIR AND I JUST CANNOT HANDLE THIS THOUGHT TRAIN OMG)

        The ONLY reason I became even remotely interested in Spartacus was because I knew that Nagron lived and OMG, I had NO IDEA what I was getting into when I started watching this show! (But omg, did you know they WERE going to kill Agron?? Like the writers were all “we have an awesome idea, we’re gonna crucify Agron and kill him and it’ll be great” and Steven DeKnight literally said “no guys, you don’t understand-” (and GODS I love that because he KNEW the backlash that would follow - he saw it and needed to avert it) but then they decided to just crucify him anyways and I’m all “I hate you, but I respect you- thank you for giving them life and a goat farm”)

        UGHHHH THIS SHOW!!!

          I'll second that "UGHHHH THIS SHOW!!!" because YES I totally read a thing somewhere about the writers planning to crucify and kill Agron but then DeKnight was all, "NO WAY YOU DEMON-SPAWN! HE LIVES!" so then the writers were all... "Um, OK.... LET'S CRUCIFY HIM ANYWAY." (insert keyboard smash here)

          I think at some point in APMF (not sure if it's a chapter I've already posted or not), Nasir is smacked in the feels with the thought of Agron upon the cross and he just NOPES THE FUCK OUTTA IT. (Now I gotta go and check where that scene is. I suspect it's in The Arena, after Nasir has helped abduct Calavius BUT I MUST DOUBLE CHECK BECAUSE YES I AM THAT PEDANTIC.)

          EDIT: OK, it's in the first chapter of The Path, so I was waaaaaay off. Boy do I feel Oblivious (TM) now. (^_~)

          Sharing clothes. I'm a little bit in love with the idea of Nasir wearing Agron's "old" stuff (like that belt because, clearly, Agron's found himself some smokin' battle gear) because it has protected someone Nasir loves and who loves Nasir and brand new clothes are kind of lacking in comparison?? Hopefully that makes some kind of sense...

            OH GODS YES I REMEMBER READING NASIRS MUSINGS ABOUT THE CROSS AND MAN I NOPED. I NOPED SO BAD AND PUT IT FAR FROM MY MIND. Is it too much to ask for them all to be happy all the time?? (Ok, yes, probably. The best part about writing is exploring ALL the emotions and torments - even the tragic ones. WHY IS THIS A THING WE DO FOR FUN??)

            ok but I LOVE that thought on the clothes sharing. But now I’m not sure if I love more the idea of Nasir putting all the significance on it but just playing it off like “can I wear this?” And Agron is completely oblivious and just “huh? Sure.” Or if Agron picks up on it and is all *gifts beautiful belt to Nasir* “I want you to wear this. It has protected me and now it will protect you.” And Nasir just being a pile of mush because GD, when Agron gets it right, he Gets It Right.
