Comment on Ride It Out, Wait It Out

  1. Cool! *adds it to the To Watch list* And yes, I love Gothic horror stories and stuff and that's why I really enjoyed The Woman in Black (also I have a huge weakness for male Victorian attire...). I guess people who are more used to things like gory slasher horror would think it was boring though.

    Oh, me too! Rocking chairs are just creepy. I mean, they're really comfy but also really creepy.

    1. Yeah, no one's eyes got gouged out at any point during Woman in Black, so I suppose that made it a raging disappointment for the torture porn community. *g*

      Rocking chairs are awesome when *I'm* in them. Late at night when I'm suspicious that they're moving on their own - not so much!!

      1. XD Most likely. Ooh, have you seen Shutter? I haven't seen the original (I believe it's Thai) but I've seen a very good Tamil remake of it (I'm Tamil) and it was creepy as hell and really good.

        Oh man, yeah, we've never had a rocking chair but my cousin's old house had one and I loved sitting in it during the day but this one time I stayed over and it looked so creepy in the dark. ;_;

        1. I have seen the American version of Shutter, which actually managed to be kind of creepy (though I wanted to slap all the characters - surprise), but I haven't seen the original nor the Tamil remake! I've done the same with The Ring, though - seen the American, not seen the Japanese. I have read the book though, which was interesting. Very different, but the American movie version was scary enough for me - I still harbor a deep suspicion of my TV!!
