I feel weird writing that this chapter was "good" for obvious reasons....but like it's so incredibly well-written and the tension Harry is feeling throughout the whole thing is described so well like you can just FEEL what he's going through. And the competing dialogue he has in his head is so fucking heartbreaking, as well as after the potion wears off and he just wants to lie there and not move. GOD. SO WELL DONE.
THANK YOUUU that means so so much, I'm super glad his emotions came through, because I want to do this right. This was SUCH a hard chapter to write (and, as you know lol, to POST) because like...it's just so awful? I totally know what you mean about not wanting to say it was 'good'...I mean, POOR HARRY. MY BABY. I'M SO SORRY. :'( I suppose to have a recovery fic, you gotta have the trauma so here we all are. BUT ANYWAY I'm so stoked you thought it was well-written omg that's SO nice to hear. <3
