Comment on The Problem With Roommates

  1. Your mind really likes dark places. Don't worry so much about your timelines, sit, grab some M&M's an relax a little, they'll come to you, after all, it could be worse, like, you could be dealing with the whole stuff about the digimon multiverse instead, I'd actually would pity the poor soul that tries to seriously put THAT in a fic.
You're welcome, and believe me, I didn't say anything that wasn't truth. Btw, what did you cook? was it great?
Yeah, I'm sometimes left wanting to know more about certain characters but end up getting more of the main one instead; it does get annoying in those instances were I don't like the protagonist of a show but see it 'cause the secondary ones interest me. I agree, Bella would be better as a lesbian, and Edward and Jacob should've gotten together (those two have chemistry, and to me it felt like Bella was put in the middle by the author to keep those two apart (I honestly feel that happens a lot in other stories/shows/series/etc, well, that or bad writing I guess, though I insist is the former), I mean, I think that way would have allowed for more drama and world-building regarding the werewolf-vampire animosity).
Chimairamon may not be as out of place as you think, since it can be linked with other events. Originally, when the kids from Adventure defeated Apocalymon, Gennai was meant to aproach them to inform them of a final threat, that being Millenniumon, but in the end was sort of discarded. Why I said 'sort of' you might ask? that's because Millenniumon did appear, but in a hidden yet clever way. You see, there's this character named Akiyama Ryo who is protagonist of some digimon games, the thing is that at some point he meet's a kid that helps him and his partner in their adventure, and that kid is none other than Ken; as it turns out, Ryo's adventures occur, to a certain point, paralell to the ones of the Adventure kids, neat am I right? But well, going forward, at some point in his game he and Ken are forced to fight Millenniumon, who came to be by the jogress of a dying Chimairamon and Mugendramon (its strongly implied, but not actually said, that this Mugendramon is the one from the Dark Masters). This event (which briefly appears in an insignificant (in length) flashback in 02) is where Ken gains his Spore, which was meant for Ryo but he protected him, but is also the event that leads to an eventual final confrontation between Ryo and Millenniumon, which end with the later defeated and with part of his data absorbed into Ryo's partner (which drives him half crazy) in order to prevent Millenniumon from coming back (and stopping him, for what I understand, from becoming Zeed Millenniumon (who is, apparentely, the true end of everything)). The defeat of this digimon causes another thing, and that is the momentary creation of a space-time rift that sucks Ryo and his partner into it. They're never seen again and due to the Spore Ken sort of forgets them. What happened to them? They ended in a different dimension, to be specific, the one were the events of Tamers happen. This has a lot to do with the whole digimon multiverse thing, so don't worry if it seems like its a lot.
If Miyako went to a circus, which she totally would, I picture it being either like the circus from Madagascar 3 or like the one from Kaleido Star.

    1. Don't worry, that is no longer part of the fic, though the scene is still written and saved, somewhere. I recently read a really fascinating fanfic that actually dealt with all of the digimon characters from all the universes being thrown into one universe to protect it. It was really good. And the person mentioned something about a sequel in a couple of months.

I still appreciate it, thank you! It was pork chops. I just have a habit of seeing things on fire or setting the smoke detector off.

The smallest attention of an author can warrant the greatest attention from a fanbase. Twilight, it would be better without unnecessary straight characters. Not to mention that she completely trashed first nation's stories while writing it.

I remember Ryo. I think he's actually mentioned in this fic at some point. At the very end, but he is mentioned! Now, that is fascinating. I never knew much about Ryo and Ken's adventures, only that it happened. I recalled how Ken got the dark spore, but hmmm. I think, in this fanfic, Chimairamon never was however. Now that would be fun. I haven't watched much of Tamers, but if Ryo makes an appearance, I may just sit down and finish watching it. I may actually try to watch all the other seasons, but I only have so much...attention span some days.

The old timey carnival style, set up with side shows, ring masters, and the like. I really love old time styled circuses, rather than the new style today. I know they have their issues, but damn if I wouldn't have wanted to see one back in the day.
