Jon is being very careful about what he says about Skyrim; something’s are okay, like Sabre cats and mammoths are okay because while they sound fantastical, Westeros had mammoths (though not many people ever see them) and Sabre cats aren’t too different from shadowcats. But stuff like the beast races, mer folk, vampires, werewolves, and magic, he’s gonna be keeping his mouth shut about. He is gonna talk a bit about cultural differences in the next chapter though.
Serana will be showing up eventually, but not for awhile.
If Jon summoned Odahviing, then the poor dragon would have to fly over who knows miles of ocean. Durnehviir though...
