I started reading HPMOR once, but it was only archived on Fanfiction.Net, and it's much easier on my eyes to read on AO3. Also, though the first chapter was hilarious-- "You bite one maths teacher and no one ever lets you forget it."-- HPMOR Harry was a bit hyper for my tastes. If it had been on a more reader-friendly site I might have persisted, but there's so much fic, so little time.
Maybe I'll give it another try. When I Googled HPMOR (without context acronyms can be a bit baffling), I discovered that the author has a dedicated site for it. Maybe that'll induce less eyestrain than FFNet.
His dedicated site includes a pdf that reads like a real book - very engaging, makes you feel like its one of ms. joanne's ebooks. the suspension of disbelief was just too much for me by the second book, though.
