   I'm honestly thrilled to see a new story from you, and a scifi setup just made my day!! Don't love John being so distant, but that's what a time machine is for I suppose :-).

      Oh, you are so sweet! And it's such a relief that a scifi premise isn't a deal breaker.
      I really didn't like John much in S3, so of course I had to work through that by working out a whole emotional justification for him and then fixing it. :)
