    I love all the description of just how DONE Dan is of Lucifer. He's just so tired of him. You got into Dan's dead so well.

    [[Chloe sighed. “I’ll call him,” she said pulling her phone out and dialing.]]
    Chloe is so long suffering. LOL.

    Love the phone ring tone. (I can't remember, is that canon?)

    [[“Yeah, Dan. I saw people kidnapping Lucifer, but I thought, ‘You know, I’ll deal with that later.’ No, I didn’t see or hear anything. I’m calling for back-up.”]]
    The snark is strong. Fav line so far.

    [[“That’s right kiddies! You’ve all been very naughty and Detective Douche is going to put aaaallll of you in jail.”]]
    aww, poor Lucifer is so sure he's saved there, isn't he? At least he has some trust in Dan's skills.

    Exellent first chapter! Even before the action I felt drawn in by Dan's narritive.

      Thank you for this comment!! That line of snark was one of my favorite lines! I love it when Chloe gets a bit smartass.

      Describing Lucifer as flouncing--who else could do it, besides Dan? LOL.

      I do not believe the ringtone is canon. I pulled it from the time he sang to her onstage. I love picking ringtones for characters in fics.

      Despite everything, Lucifer still has faith in Dan. Even after he asked him what Chloe's flinch meant and Dan was so awful to him. I'm glad Dan's narrative drew you in.
