Comment on The Reinvention of Something More

  1. I have a theory about who the villain is in this universe, as the canon universe, the volleyball only ruined Akane's gift to Yuta, but in this universe, the volleyball also ruined the gift of one other person...but I won't say who my theory is about in case I'm right since I don't want to accidentally spoil anything.

I really look forward to future chapters of this, a universe where Akane is a hero instead of a villain is an intriguing concept!

    1. Hmm, well all I can say is that it's probably not what you're thinking, but it COULD be so. Who knows? I'd like to speak with you, you seem to know your stuff about SSSS Gridman.

      1. I prefer to remain anonymous on AO3, as I try to keep a low profile online given the, well, let's just say "intense" nature of modern fandoms.

We can potentially talk in the comments section, though. Would you like to ask me anything specific? Oh, by the way, fun fact: the reason for the SSSS acronym in the show's title is because it's an homage to the Americanized version of the original Gridman series, Super Samurai Syber-Squad.

      2. Typo, I meant Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad.

        1. I see! Interesting. Judging from your speculation... do you suspect Sho of being the antagonist? I hope my guess was right.

          1. That's right, I suspect Sho of being the antagonist, because in this universe, the volleyball ruined Sho's gift by knocking over his ramune, so this time he'd be the one with a grudge against the volleyball player.

            1. Interesting! Well, I can’t say who the antagonist really is, but your theory is interesting. Though if I could come up with a counter argument... if Sho really was the antagonist, then how is he able to be there with the others instead of being someone making the Kaiju?
