    Yessh same headcanon with me. LXC must have at least helped raising JL a bit, given how he and JC frequented Koi Tower. JL being a brat that he was, must have at least once thrown tantrum and made things difficult for his hopeless jiujiu. And LXC just couldn't allow anyone to be distressed in front of him, and also having experienced taking care of A-Yuan he would want to put his babysitting skill on JL lol

      hehehehe thanks! It's been definitely interesting, considering my other Xicheng wip deals with a much more mature Jiang Cheng. This story is fun in the sense that I can explore how a relationship with Lan Xichen more earlier may help him with his rage issues.

      And Lan Wangji is going to have more than a few choice words to say about this lol I'm excited to get there <3

      Yesss! I mean, I doubt he was around enough for Jin Ling to see him as some sort of honorary uncle, but he was definitely a constant. I'm not sure about the novel, but the show made sure to point out how often Lan Xichen was actually hanging out with Jin Guangyao at Carp Tower, so it stands to reason he got to be around Jin Ling as he grew up C:
