Itachi was 13 when he left Konoha, and he was born on June 9th, while Sasuke's birthday is on July 23rd, and he was 7 when the massacre occurred. This means Itachi will have had to commit it in the six-week period between their respective birthdays for the dates and ages to match up with what is stated in canon, I believe, so you're good on that front.
