Omg I love this! Such a good fic, but I feel so bad for Wei Ying :/ he has to deal with so much and so many insecurities, and on top of that he's just in this hostile environment, surrounded by people who blame him for literally everything. It's ridiculous. And you can't even see things from LQR's perspective at all because...none of this has anything to do with what WWX did after becoming the Yiling Patriarch, or even for what LWJ went through, LQR has literally hated WWX from the moment he stepped into Cloud Recesses, before he'd even had a chance to do anything. He literally formed his opinion of the guy based on things he'd heard from other people, and nothing would change his mind after that.
But Im really curious to see what happens in the next chapter. WWX sounds pretty injured based on your description at the end of this chapter which...really isn't good considering he still has a really weak core.But at least he didn't hit the ground? Because that would've been instant death obviously (goddammit WWX, you're a parent now, be a little more considerate of your health! What's Xiao going to do if you go and die?)
Curious to see how they end up back in the Lan sect next chapter, and how LQR ends up meeting Xiao since WWX is still so against that happening. And yeah, poor LWJ is probably going to be so upset about all of this. Wonder how JC will react since things still don't seem 100% between him and WWX
