    it’s gonna drive me insane if i don’t comment on this piece at least once before it’s finished, because it’s so incredibly good. the way you capture the abuse he experiences with myra and the frustration and the fear is just so raw and amazing, and as someone who’s been in bad relationships before, it seriously moved me to see the emotions all,, accurately presented, if that makes sense? and the way he interacts with stanley, the remembering-the-quarry-sequence. it’s SO beautiful. i seriously think this is one of my favorite pieces on this site. you’re so incredibly talented and i love where the story is going. and as a young writer, it’s really really inspiring to me :) thank you for writing this and continuing to write it. it’s phenomenal <3

      I didn't miss your comment, I promise, I just got real bad about remembering to respond. I've been in shitty relationships too where I've been on the receiving end of someone being very manipulative, so it felt important not to like shove that all under the rug or sugarcoat it?
