Comment on Warped Minds

  1. I know which story you're talking about. And I do like it, but I can't deny that it does seem like she's rehashing a lot of the same points in several chapters. I don't comment for it like I used to in great part because of that.

    I kind of thought that way about the fic where Hound turned out to be that porn star Soundwave was looking for. Ending seemed...I guess you could say anti-climatic to me. But Biblio's not the only author who's ever done either of those things.

    Yeah, while Ao3 does condense those into comment strings for statistics, I've sometimes wished for a PM system here. I've had questions about one or two of my on-going stories concerning spoilers, and I've just been fortunate that most of those that have asked me for them so far have also had FFnet accounts that I can respond to for those. But with those who haven't, I've had no real recourse but to dance around the subject. And I don't like the notion of asking for an e-mail on public comments.

    I have been informed that PMs might one day be a possibility on this site, but we shall see.

    If you'd like to continue this chat (and not here), you know how to find me. ^^

    1. Hey, I like eavesdropping.

      ...And you make me look popular, hahaha.

      I've been watching the 'h' appear and disappear, and was wondering if either of you would comment on it. (I thought off the top of my head that the name was spelled a different way again.)

        Eh, spelling... I don't think Beebleothekareeo_F cares much, amirite?

        1. I just refer to her as Biblio for short. *shrugs*

          @Zatnik
          Yes, I've noticed you piggybacking on others' comments before. Including mine. LOL

            Biblio works, though I like to add the D. It's probably a reference to something, but for me the D actually stands out and sets it apart as a username.

          2. I thought she was bibliocaria—D.

            What can I say? I like to watch. (Bowchicka.) What I read in the fandom is a subset of what you read; so there's almost always a comment of yours there.

            1. This is true. Though you did surprise me just recently by adding on to a comment I made a year ago for a story. ^^

      Yea, there's a lot of repetition, and when that repitition focuses on something I like I can REALLY wallow in it like a pig in mud- which I why I like 'White Lies' so much. I'm just kind of wishing it went somewhere instead of being the thing it is now.

      Oh yes, the Hound pornstar thing had an ending like an underwater-firework, which is to say it was disappointing. There was a short bit in her ... what is it called.... her 'collection of shorts and bits' story, where she had Jazz confront Hound, which was a little weird and thus cut out, but it made for a better ending than what really happened.

      I'll go over to ff.net for PM'ing then ;) Sorry Zatnik, no more peep-ability for you!
