    Aegon I and Visenya were to blame for quite a bit of this. It was said that Aegon favoured Rhaenys and it's only natural he favoured her son over Visenya's - one can't help but wonder how different things would have been if Aenys and Maegor were raised together or Visenya and Aegon managed to get their shit together. Or would the natures of their children taken precedence over their nature? I can't feel pity for Maegor but I can understand him.

      Maybe they would have been lucky and turned out like Robb & Jon or it might not have mattered and they could have turned out like Stannis & Renly
