    i stayed up way too late last night reading this and now its tomorrow and i have regrets but i DO NOT regret reading this because its incredible and i have a lot of feelings

    first of all your writing is amazing wizardry and i am so hooked and invested and aaaa
    this whole comment could be incoherent screaming but im trying to keep myself together better than that

    second of all i have THOUGHTS like. how tragic it is that lan zhan comes back before he finds out about wei yings golden core and aaaa it breaks my heart but its also genius so
    and putting baby yuan in a war zone!! cruel to my heart!!! (presumably he was in a war zone anyway but oh my god D:)
    .. on that note, why was lan zhan in his bed but yuan like. teleported?? im sure u have plot reasons and im dying of curiosity (im dying of curiosity over a lot of things, but ill recover)
    lan xichen is also breaking my heart, hes doing hes best!! hes a baby too someone protect him
    i just. really want this to be a fix it fic where no one dies but you're also hurting me in the best way too, and what im TRYING to say
    if that whichever direction this goes in its amazing and i love it

    which reminds me bc this is cql verse, im very curious what jgy is doing and whether wwx will be responsible for his own mistakes (or not as in the show) bc you have an incredible way of handling responsibility and consequences so far!!
    AND my last point. was about lan zhan focusing on the stygian tiger seal?? as the reason wwx dies/the clans frame him - which like. is totally canon, but focused on in a way that isnt in other fics?? anyway i just found that really new and cool and makes sense since lan zhan doesnt know about the other contributing factors
