Oh, yes. I started this as part of a fest. It's not rare for my audience to prompt me with stuff like this, though. I have a bunch of ace/aro characters. Clint is aromantic in "The Hawkeye Initiative." I haven't written Sherlock Holmes (from the BBC show) as anything other than ace. "When the Moon Hits Your Eye" and "What Fireworks Are Like" are explicitly about asexuality; "THE Woman" just has it as background. Schrodinger's Heroes has several canonically asexual characters. Then on the original side, Hart's Farm and Path of the Paladins have several major characters who are ace, and there are more scattered throughout my work.
I've basically written every sex/gender/orientation I've ever encountered. If you'd like to see more of this stuff, feel free to catch any of my open prompt calls and ask for whatever you'd like that matches the theme (if there is one).
