oh god, i didn't expect that to happen. that is,,sort of dark,in a way. Like, papyrus knows about the resets, perhaps he could have done a bit more to help sans throughout the resets? Papyrus was walking towards his death every single time a genocide would happen, and if he was smart enough to keep it a secret that he knew about the resets, he should be smart enough to know his actions are hurting sans, right? ack, nevertheless i do love some good "papyrus knows about the resets" au's and fics, so im going to continue reading this even though i know i'll be drowned in tears by the end of this,,,
it is pretty dark, haha. while Pap's intentions were good overall, he neglected Sans a bit--though by the point he realized such, he still didn't want to tell him what he knew, since that would only complicate things. he wanted Sans to be as happy as he could be, in this situation (by knowing Papyrus was happy and there was nothing wrong), thus not revealing anything. it's so backwards but y'know lol. and honestly i feel like there's not enough fics with Papyrus knowing about the resets, he's a lot smarter than people give him credit for, and i imagine him knowing a lot more than he seems to on the surface.
