   I dont think areason why brienne endures joffrey's insults.. but i like the story, its difficult to imsgine a modern joffrey who has not been raised as heir of the throne but just a filthy rich kid because it gives him a not so powerful background

      Brienne is kind and one of her best quality is stamina! You're perfectly right about modern AU Joffrey, he's just a pampered kid, with a desperate need of being loved by his parents, not so dangerous and hateful maybe... no need to poison him ;)
