Thank you--I'm so glad everything worked for you, even when you couldn't feel sympathetic toward Jensen, because you shared the reaction Jared had. That's good to hear as a writer, that I got his reaction and anger and hurt right. It wasn't a huge amount of angst, but it felt personal to the characters, and they both needed to have doubts linked to who they were and how they'd lived.
I'm also really glad to hear you liked the supporting characters; they were fun to write and really helped me set the tone of the piece in my mind.
