    I admit I have a soft spot for Isaac, even if very little is known about him. But the conversation with Rain Falls and the way Arthur treats little Jack have always made me imagine a beautiful relationship between Arthur and his lost son. So if I find a story in which Isaac appears I will dive into it.
    I liked this incipit, it could be canon. I love how you characterized Isaac, he is a curious boy, very lovable. Arthur impulsiveness to decide to bring him with him was a great thing. He usually overthink everything, but I think uncle Howard resembled too much to Lyle Morgan, and Arthur will never live a child with a violent drunkard.
    Know I am curious to see the gang reaction. In particular Dutch. I smell drama in the air.

      I think I've read almost every Isaac Lives AU I could find on this site, there's never enough! But so many of them feature an older, usually teenage Isaac finding his dad after many years, and I really wanted to see what would happen if Arthur raised Isaac with the gang. And so this fic was born and it is going to take forever to write all I want to do, because I really want to take this all the way to 1899.

      I was definitely going for Lyle Morgan vibes for Uncle Howard. Arthur is very protective of the gang members in game, so that would go into overload with his own kid.
