She should have handled it in a more private manner, but I am grateful she called out the blatant hypocrisy and favoritism that happens in the story when it comes to the safety and well-being of the students. Just because someone is gifted should not mean that someone should play such a dangerous game at 11 years old. McGonagall herself allows for him to play this and then goes into overblown dramatics over the dragon thing, assumes it is a prank, and takes points away obscene amount of points for each student (assuming my because it reminded her of James, but still). Harry definitely has to deal with some extreme back-and-forths when it comes to how he is treated, which is problem why he runs into so many issues as the series progresses. Thank you for sharing another wonderful chapter! I’m really looking forward to reading more!

      Yeah, this one of the scenes that bother me the most in the entire series. I’m surprised more people haven’t mentioned it as a problem.
