   Lovely story! I love this couple so much, they are definitely a very healthy and communicative one. And Numair is such an adorable goof.

   Rest assured, they do get married! This is confirmed by Tamora Pierce, but also in Tricksters choice. When Daine gets accidentally pregnant during the Scanran war (apparently all the shape changing she did during the war led her to lose the antipregnancy charm but not realize it) they get married, one because she doesn’t want her child to be a bastard too, but also I like to think, and Tammy implied this, they finally accepted and believed the other wouldn’t get tired of each other :)

      Also thanks for the confirmation! I don't have a copy of the Tricksters books so I wasn't sure. Married or no, I absolutely see these two together for the rest of their days <3
