I mean yeah, if not then, he would have totally tried kill MC later, more sneakily.
For Diavolo, the four statements are:
"Please at least tell me that you don't think I'm entirely stupid." Not a true/false at all, but a request. Passes.
"You know that I know enough not to try anything in front of you all, even if I did have bad intentions." Diavolo does indeed know that, so this is true. Passes.
"I swear on my life that I won't hurt her." This oath reads as true, because he is expecting to die the second he hurts her. By swearing it on his life, and then being willing to give it up, he gets around the oath. Passes.
"I just want a hug." This actually reads as false but it's such a normal thing for Diavolo that this kind of thing reads as a lie that he lets it go. Of course Belphie wants more things than just a hug from MC. Maybe he also wants a nap, or to hang out with Beel, or to set Lucifer's curtains on fire. Passes (after being ignored).
Mammon and Asmo are my personal favourites and by far the most likely to glomp onto a MC in distress and flail adorably in trying to help.
Mammon is determined not to go through losing her again, and it probably took everything he had to let her be brave and try to fix things with Belphie.
Asmo is a sweet cinnamon roll 90% of the time, even when he's flirting incessantly with you. He is self obsessed but he is always generous with his affection, attention and concern.
I'm so glad you like my characterizations, though I did realise after I posted this that I actually forgot that Levi existed until I sent him to play sentry. Oops! I'm sorry Levi! I might give you a line in the next one?
I really wanted the rules to be set out early so everyone can understand how the time loop will work. Now I can focus on torturing my characters for a bit. 😁
