You're right about *who* Sivert's brother is. He's a nasty piece of work, but Magna wasn't expecting the things from the basement to come and catch him quite so quickly as this. He's been concentrating on keeping Fin safe and better, and suddenly he's got to deal with the fact that he killed someone, and that someone might be on their way to find them now. Poor kid. It's a lot to deal with. Good thing he's got Judith's help, because he couldn't deal with this on his own.
The next chapter will have a bit more information on why Fin has the problems with the clock that he does. Well, more information and more questions, quite possibly.
The little interactions are my favourites! That tiny hand brush across Judith's hand conveys so much about what Fin is thinking. Everything we know about about him is in his actions, so they become very important. The quick hug, the hand brush, the standing against the wall, the smiles.
Magna lies about how he got that scar every time i write it in. But he completely crashed into the door of his house when he was learning to fly a broom.
And you are right about the damn chapter titles! I fixed it. I don't normally do chapter titles so I forget!
