    This looks really interesting is he going to go back to Harry's first year or a year before Harry first year?

      I decided I wanted him to go back to Harry's third year. Mostly, because I wanted to make this story about how they grow as characters and their relationship dynamic changes so I wanted to give them a few years for that relationship to have been established so Harry could appreciate the before and after differences of Snape. Also, this way Harry gets to know Voldemort and the wizarding world without being "brainwashed" into believing Snape is good. This way he knows enough about the world that he doesn't have to take everything Snape says and does at face value. But I also wanted to send him back before fourth year as I didn't want to jump into the Triwizard Tournament. I think it is working out ok, though I'll be honest and admit I probably dragged the second half of third year out too long. But the pace picks up again after Easter, so power through chapters 20sh to 37. :)
