    Thanks! I feel like I sometimes redeem Ardyn further than cannon Ardyn would be willing to be redeemed, but that's what fanfiction is for, right? Ardyn is a more realistic character to give a heart to as well considering his back story. And in this story and my other with Verstael, I made Verstael really awful, but what sort of monster would clone himself hundreds/thousands of times to create an army? I don't feel either of my characterizations are too unbelievable for these two.
