    Dude(tte), thank you so much for writing this story. An idea similar to it was floating around in my head for a while now, about Izuku recieving OfA and then turning to villainy. I've really liked your writing in this chapter, especially the final bit with Izuku feeling conflicted about accepting the quirk from All Might. Also, during the rooftop scene, was AM hesitant to say Midoryia can't be a hero because Toshinori was quirkless before meeting Nana?

    From the tags you put up already, HPSC Bashing, Worldbuilding and Quirkless Discrimination are probably what I'll be looking forwards to the most apart from how you write the Villain characters, and I believe you'll do great work with all of them. I haven't read many Villain Ochaco/Todoroki fics, but both have backstories that I believe can justify their turn to villainy.

    I look forwards to reading more from you, this chapter was very impressive! I'm very happy I scrolled through new and didn't just go by Kudos again.

    PS: I have to ask, for curiosity's sake: do you have any plans already for the League, and how they'll interact with Midoriya once he "goes dark"?

      (I use he/they pronouns, just for future reference). I’m stoked to be writing this story, and I’m glad that other people are thinking about all the directions that a villain Izuku with One for All can take. I’ve been stuck on the idea for ages, so I just had to write it. As for the rooftop scene, All Might’s hesitation had more to do with trying to let Izuku down gently. Considering how All Might views himself in canon, it’s very easy to see how he could have an unhealthy relationship with his past quirklessness. He genuinely believes that he never could’ve become a hero without One for All, and that’ll show in his interactions with Izuku. He’s not trying to be cruel, but he is a flawed character much like… everyone else, really.

      I’m particularly excited to write about how Ochako and Shouto end up joining Izuku in his journey, and while I don’t want to spoil too much, I do want to say that they won’t be the only two doing so. It’s not going to turn into a villain 1-A fic or anything, but Izuku has a lot of pull and charisma so…

      To answer your question, yes! I tend to map out all my major plot points before I start writing, so I know exactly when Izuku will be “going dark” and how the initial interactions with the League will go/where it’ll go from there. It’s just a matter of writing it to that point.
