Comment on Rescue Me

  1. I am further down the story but i am reading an offline copy and I don't know where exactly I am.

That they can't get to finish their talks is fucking frustrating and stupid and annoying. It really takes away from the story.

    1. I'm sorry you feel that way.

      1. I have to apologize. It was a little mean to frame it as I did.

I really enjoy this story. Prose and premise are excellent. Some of the best I have read and the development is mostly fine. (I don't read bad stuff and I am almost finished.)

It was just extremely frustrating that whenever they finally got to talk they were interrupted.
So I finally reached the chapter "upsetting status quo" or whatever it's called and I must say it's now much more enjoyable.

I am sorry if it sounded like I didn't enjoy it because I did. I just found it tireing eventually and I do think it was a little ridiculous.

        1. It's fine. You're free to feel frustrated.

It's likely a result of going months between updates and not remembering what I've written before. But it also could've been a style choice I made way back when I first started writing the fic. It's difficult to say after all this time. No one's ever complained about it before, particularly during the initial posting, otherwise, I would've adjusted as I don't typically intend to annoy my readers (well, maybe annoy them a little).

Since it's been so long since I wrote and posted this fic, I have no intention of changing things in any substantial way. I appreciate the feedback, though!

          1. It's probably because it was 6 am in the morning and I wanted to see their 'talk' and I was growing more and more tired but i couldn't sleep before I got there so I basically had to read 80000 words :D.

I wouldn't ever request that an author changes a story so no worries. Even if it was intentional it's your prerogative to write whatever you want.
