Compared to the rest of the Zen'in, Toji is better because he actually love his kid and didn't try to kill them as soon as they could walk.

    He did care he just didn't think he would be good for them hence why he convinced himself he didn't care so leaving was easier and why he gave them to the zenin(just cuz they treated him bad dosent mean they would treat a 10 shadows user bad)
