Comment on Hogwarts' Youngest Headmaster

  1. False. It has been stated that first years aren't allowed to own a broom OR play Quidditch. Exceptions are made if said first year displays remarkable talent.

Ah right, well if I'm honest with you I wrote this months ago and have mostly forgotten when I've written. However when I eventually read through this again, I'll have a look and probably correct it. Thanks for pointing it out :)

      2. Ok, looking back, it was the PlayStation adaptation of the Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone where I heard that, so admittedly not the best source. It doesn't help that McGonagall's line from the first book "I shall speak to Professor Dumbledore and see if we can’t bend the first-year rule." could easily be taken that way.

        1. No problem I have both the US & UK vers of book 1 the funny part in the game is the chocolate frog cards by the dates Gillyweed's use was discovered before Gillyweed was even discovered but that was from the GameCube vers of Chamber of Secrets

          1. Yeah, I saw a chocolate frog card in the Philosopher's Stone game that gave a witch's date of death as 1997, even though Philosopher's Stone takes place in 1991.
